This hive has to have good knowledge...

I have this nice tile porch. Well it was nice when I moved in but over time many of the tiles have cracked and broken. I want to remove all the tile and put something else on that's more durable and less slippery when my kids spray water on it or it rains.

I was thinking some sort of outdoor rated wood flooring, but wasn't sure if the slight bow across it long ways would pose a problem. I'm not sure what I could use to float that to make it flat.

Otherwise, maybe some sort of outdoor rated carpet tiles or?

What would you guys do to tackle this on the relative cheap 20220530_175234.jpg20220530_175256.jpg

If the bowing isn't substantial you could run the new wood/trex length wise with the porch and it will likely float a little over the low spots.

I'd either strip the tile and go trex or just lap it ontop, what does the junction height at the door give you

It's just plywood under the tile. I was looking around last night and ran into outdoor vinyl that seems to install kind of like a laminate floor. That might be my best bet.
