am i the only one who noticed that they are going after those who were brandishing weapons in public?

1) A person is guilty of brandishing a dangerous weapon if, under circumstances not
amounting to aggravated assault, and not in necessary self defense, the person draws or exhibits
any dangerous weapon, as defined in Section 76-1-601 , in a threatening manner in the presence
of another person.

Simply posing in a picture with a weapon is not brandishing, you have to draw, unsheathe, pull out etc. etc. said dangerous weapon and basically show an intent to use it on said person.

While I know you are referring to there jacked up laws, this is ours
