Lane's in Hesperia this weekend so hopefully Monday will see some action when he gets back to the Buena Park house.

This has gone on long enough. I am going to forget about getting Lane's Scout. I have emailed him and talked to him on the phone to no avail so I give up. I think he secretly wants to restore it himself now that his house is built. Well it was a good try.

Usually when I get to this point and write it off, I get a notice in a couple of days that the project is back on the table. Time will tell.

Well it is back on the table. After talking to Lane he just does not want to be bothered with it. The scout has been sitting beside his house about 20 years and he just wants it to be gone with out any effort on his part. I do not have the backing of my wife to bring it here and working on it and am not sure the health would give me much time also. So here is the deal, if you will come pick it up you can have it except for a $100 finders fee to me that is negotiable. I believe Cheston has first choice and Steve second. PM me and I will give you the address to go check it out. It can also be seen on Google map sitting beside his house with his boat.

Well this turned into a nightmare.

I posted on FB asking if any of my friends were close by that could go take a look at it. A guy named Greg Samford posted he was close and would be happy to go check it out.

Long long story short....be bought it out from under me and then lied to me about it to try to cover it up. I even joked with him about he better not take it out from under me and he assured me he wouldnt.

He is a member of the Scouts West club.

But anyway, the Scout is gone. Sad day
