Power steering pulley

I need to know what the smallest diameter pulley is and where I can get one that will fit on a saginaw type power steering pump. I have a pump from an 83 Cavalier and it has a 6" pulley on it. The crank pulley on my sami is very small and does not turn the pump as fast as it needs to go. When I am turning 6500 rpm it works OK.
Is my pump bad? Or is my pulley system all f...screwed up?

I measured a pump that had a 5 3/4" pulley from a chev truck.

I need power steering with 36's and a spooled front axle.

Edit: I will be installing a larger crank pulley tomorrow.

I think best thing you could do is get the bigger crank pulley. The pulleys for the saginaw pumps are fairly standard size. You might want to check with moroso, though, they might make a smaller one.

I installed a larger crank pulley and then I did some investigating. I did some modifications before I installed the pump. I'm not going to say where I screwed up but I found the problem.

Thanks for the replies.

Now I can steer with 1 finger in 4WD.
