Pre BBQ Snow Run!!!!!!!

Looks like there is a bit of interest in doing a snow run on Saturday before the meet and greet.

So what I'm thinking is that we go play somewhere not to far away and then drive back down in time for the BBQ at 6:30. We do not have a location yet so we are up for ideas. I don't know the good snow areas, so I will have to be a follower.

Let me know if there is interest and post up some ideas of locations. Looks like it will be pretty warm this weekend.

If most people would rather do a dry run instead, that's fine as well. Maybe Snakes or something.

ward canyon is just up the street in Bountiful.... but lord help the poor fool that gets stuck or broken down and doesn't make it back in time for Jenn's Meet and Greet.....

The back road still has alot of snow on the back side still. It would be an all day thing.

Though a few caynons over. their is a north caynon. It would be fun. Not very long trail, though fun iwth snow.

I would be interested in going. Depending on what goes.
b town is a snore fest other then a few little things. Like the river bed with rocks. may have some snow. can always run to second meadows is always fun.

Any of that sounds fine to me. I don't know those areas at all so someone that does would have to be there.

So I think. depending on what everyone whats. I would start at like 11am. meet at the "B" or a gas station. Then run the trail, or what ever.

Change to March 7th Meet and Greet!!!!!!!
Everyone needs to be at Pats BBQ between 6:00 and 6:30!!!! That's the only way that we can possibly get seats together.

So I think we have a plan coming together. We just need a meeting spot. Lets say a gas station off the hi way, then we can caravan to the trial head. Give us a name of a gas station and what exit and let's plan on 11am March 7.

And yes, we will be back in time for the BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on 500w and 400 N there are two gas stations (common cents and ?) that you can meet up in... and then take off up 400 n to the B... but what I would suggest is meeting up at the lowes right there on 500 w and 400 N that way your not blocking the gas pumps...

Looking at the weather it looks like sat there is no snow but sunday!!!!

I might be there in my cj and the misses in her tj.... depending on things...

Sounds good. Does the Lowes share a parking lot with the gas station? We could meet in the lowes parking lot close to it. So everyone can gas up and then find the group easy.

I am not sure if lowes shares an inlet for chevron on the corner. Though U can drop in to top off before u go to lowes. Since it is on the same block.

I think lowes is a great place to meet. Right near the new texas road kill building.

plus now with the new snow. we can have lots of fun

it would be best if you got your gas and goodies before hand and then meet at lowes that way we just turn out of lowes onto 400 n and drive straight up the street... the chevron and common cents are both on the north side of the road and you would have to fight to get out of them to go east on 400N...

This all sounds good to me. So lets say this:



Meet at the Lowes. Close to the street. Be ready to roll out and head to the trail at 11:00 SHARP. Plan on being off the trail headed for home by 4:00 to head to the BBQ by 6:00

So who's leading this run anyways?
