Price 5-26-07

Ran up Price today with Marcus and Jenn for a quick day trip. Hit up pinnacle with no problems except I tried to blast through the mud/water hole at the end and and it was about 4 feet deep and I couldn't get out. Needless to say I got a little wet. Marcus winched me out and we ran over and picked up Dixon and ran over to judgemnt day so marcus could try the entrance after I got rejected last year. I didn't even bother trying this year after marcus tried for a while and all 4 of us ran gremiln instead.

Price was awesome! The trails were just challenging enough to keep it fun and the scenery was great. You were right though, gatekeeper on judgment day was a b@tch for sure

Now we just need to hit up a few more trails before it gets too hot!

Price trails

Kiel showed up at my house and twisted my arm to go run a few trails. I couldn't load the sami on the trailer fast enough. We went north to Judgement Day, Kiel was denied last time he was down and he wanted to see if Marcus's tj could preveil. His jeep ended up turned sideways his bumper against a rock and his front tire pinched in a crack up against a large boulder. I still can't believe his tire stayed on the rim. So from there we went over to Gremlin a short trail but some fun boulders.

Gremlin was pretty easy. JD was the one I had no business on

All in all, Price is a reaaly cool place to wheel within 100 miles or so and has more hotels/food than Delta. Gremiln, Pinnacle is kinda like RS/CON but longer with more obstacles (4-4+).

I'm definately up for another run.

You are not the first to have that water hole trip ya up. It's always cloudy so you can't see that big hole hiding in there.

Yep, I couldn't just go around that water hole, just too much temptation. That pic marcus got of me is like my sh!t what do I do now face, it was pretty deep on that side I would guess around 4 feet about a foot over my 36's. Then we tried to winch me out without it running. The hole was so big that it was just pulling marcus in. So I had to get in and sit in the water and drive.winch out. It stuttered when we got to the other trail, but cleared up after a couple minutes. Some water came out of the muffler lol

you know I don't think I have ever taken any one on our two water fall trails except for wayne. The one is Steel horse and the other is upper pinnacle both are pretty short and we could do them in one day and it's never to hot in the summer . We 'll have to plan something when jks gets his junk going.

You can see in the pic that the whole left side of me is wet, Then I had to jump back in to drive it out and sit in the water and work the pedals

Judgement Day

Hey there, not looking to steel the tread but you guys seem to know the area well!! Im looking for some feedback on Judgement Day. I ran it last year & had a great time. I was curious if of how the trail is holding up? Is it still pretty tough, getting stacked up, dug out, easier, tougher, ect....? I am looking at a trip to Price in two weeks. Also I was wondering what would be next in line as far as difficulty if we were running for two days? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to get pazst the keeper on it last year and didn't make it, this year marcus tried but he didn't make it either, we were with a group so I didn't even bother to try since the trail and my rig are the same. Next in line is pinnacle probably, not real hard but probably a 4, it's changed some
