Then James K gives it a go, but unfortunately ends up breaking the output shaft on the t-case which sucks because that's not really trail fixable. His day was over. :(

There was also some axle shaft carnage followed by some electrical bugs on the 3 boulder pit for Lemon Joy.

We were able to fix things up as good as possible and get of the trail as the winds had shifted and started bringing the fire down the canyon about 2 miles away. Not a good area to be. It was time to leave. :)

Sweet trip report! Thanks for showing us around again. If you've got anything else like Judgment Day I want to see it! That fire was closer than it looks in the pictures. It really started to get windy and smoky towards the end of the day, and all the tow rigs were parked within a hundred feet or so of an oil (gas?) well... :eek:

I can still fit the hardtop back on, just need a little bit of hammer-massaging on the top rail. It's all cool. :cool:

I do need a front marker and a taillight though. :(
