The top is custom. My Mom made it for me. It is made out of the material they make ultra light airplanes from so it is very durable and water proof. She also made me some snap on covers for my half doors. Eventually I will have her make sides with lexan windows which I am very excited for.
Im trying to get her to do some tops for some side money. I just gave her some measurements of my cage and she had it made the next day. Fits great! Im going to have to have her take 9" off the back because of the bob though

Been doing pretty good! Just been busy. Tons of work this year but thats good because as you can see.......it got me one tons!
Are you guys going to Moab again this year? I am going down on the 3rd and staying til.......well as long as my money lasts.
If you guys are going to be there I want to run some trails again. It was a laugh a minute last year!

yea, we will be down there, I havent missed a year in 14 years..Im not sure if we will be there on the BIG weekend or not, we have been talking about the weekend after but not sure yet. Ill let you know it would be fun to hook up for a few trails. I probably will be in my 4runner (its more street legal..sorta) but thats not a for sure thing either.. as far as the Jeep, its doing good, ive done some mechanical improvements...but as far as the body goes...well ive flopped it four more times since you seen it last...oh well. My brother retired his buggy and is almost finished with his new toy. same specs as my 4runner(4.3vortec/4l60e/AA/marlin crawlboxes. should be fun to watch him mess it up.

Well after 3 weeks of planning, cutting, and welding..........My radius arms dont work. They are binding dang near instantly when flexing. Apparantly Ford knew what they were doing when they used the C bushings on their radius arms.
Looks like Im gonna chop em off and start over..... YEAH

What are you planning to do? If you go for the c-bushing style, wrist one of your radius arms. It helps the binding quite a bit.

I thought about doing a sort of wrist set up but Im gonna scrap the whole radius arm idea and build a link setup with heims on all ends. These radius arms will go underneath my buddys 76 bronco and we will build the stock c bushings into them. So at least they arent going to waste but..........now I need to buy 8 heims and a bunch of tubing. My wife is going to be thrilled. I just bought my 5.38 gears and install kits last week. I need to get out and drive so I can remember why I am building this scout.

I need 4 BIG heims. Well I probably dont need them but I want 4 of the monster heims. I think they are 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" for the lower bars.
The other 4 can be either 3/4 or 7/8
