Very cool. I'm jealous of the fiberglass work, I've been wanting to learn how to do that for a while now.

I love everything about this buggy, and I'm stoked to see it in Moab.

a word about fiberglass: Big fans, or a good respirator. I got high as hell w/Hunter the other day, huffing fumes inadvertently. Unless you're into that thing, then hey, I'm not here to judge. It was no good for me. Hunter had a proper respirator on. ;)

Awesome Rawlin! So, is the Pheonix going to be Tuff Country car #2? ;)

No Tuff Country Car #2, It will be part of the Beach team! A 6.0 and a TH400 is in the works. I cant thank my sponsors enough for the amazing products to complete this build!

Forgive my ignorance but, why a spool in the front?? :rolleyes:I don't know what 4400 series racing is, I'm assuming its along the lines of rock racing or desert racing or a combination of both, like The King Of the Hammers, yes-no??
It seems to me that any kind of racing is going to require good steering manners, except maybe mud bogging or sand drags!:handlebars:

BTW: Those axles are waaaay coool!!:cool: Looking forward to more info & pics on those bad boys!:D:D

No ignorance taken. The reason for a spool is because its light weight and less moving parts to break. If we were going to use it to dodge cones we would run ARB's for convience and competitive edge.

These axles are incredible. I cant thank Jason at JRat offroad enough for these amazing products for this build!

Do you build your own molds & are they good for multiple uses??

Yes I build the molds and Yes they are good for many uses. I have made about six hoods with my current mold and it couldnt work any better.

It's great looking work!!

Have you built anything like a full tilt 1 piece front end with high clearance fenders??:) I don't know how time consuming something like that is but you definitely have the talent to build it! :tara: I paid $300 for a used one that needs repairs... Might be a market out there!?;)

Thanks! I havent built a one piece front end. I have done some work on some bulged baja style fenders and bedsides for a friend but thats about the extent of it. I'm sure I could repair it for ya if that would help ya out?

I'll keep that in mind!;) I think I'll give it a go myself first, it's on the under side where it doesn't have to look real good, & I need to learn how to do this kind of body work anyway!!:) You never know, I might own a Vette one day!!
