Since this is how it is mounted on the forklift this is why I was wondering. The take for my camper has to be mounted horizontally.

propane is a pressurized gas so I don't think it matters how you mount it. Mine is mounted horizontally.

It is liquid in the tank.

Shawn, you need to draw liquid not gas. You can change the valve and pick up tube, then mount it verticaly, otherwise you're stuck with mounting it horizontal. And yes, propane is a gas, untill you pressurize it.
