PSA: Keep an eye on your rigs

This morning someone told me that they saw a black guy with dreads snooping through the window of my 4Runner looking around both windows. Then they pulled out some tools and set them down on the ground next to my rig but some car drove by and must've spooked them and he took off.

The only thing visible through the window is my CB radio and the stereo doesn't even have the face plate on it. So not sure what he saw of interest inside it, my guess is wanted to steal the whole car. Maybe for parts or for the tires, no idea.

Unfortunately that's all the info I got, this happened in west valley. Keep an eye out, folks!

Out of sight / out of mind goes along ways. Did they say what time it was ? He might be back.
Id pull the CB and try to block your rig in somehow. Maybe he's just looking for something quick to pawn.
I had mine messed with once and I set a camera peeking through the blinds so you couldn't tell. Also pulled a few all nighters watching.
Always happend on weekends.
Finally caught em' and police showed. Turns out it was an ex thinking it was a joke till I pressed charges.

I think it was around 9am so broad daylight. This was at a business so fortunately not at my house. But I also suspect they could be back so I'll be keeping an eye out for that.

I had someone steal the front diff housing and diff out of the front of a Sidekick in my driveway and I didn't even know it until I went to move it and the axles were hanging. People can be pretty crafty at times.

Just last Saturday we stopped at the KFC on 3900 and State St. to grab the kids some din din, I ran in and my wife was sitting in the LandCruiser, some guy came up to the rear passenger window and was full on looking in the back seat, my wife felt something was watching her, she turned and they made eye contact, the guy hurried off.
The doors were unlocked, I had just come out to put the drinks on the back seat as KFC was having some serious food timing issues.
Some people are A-holes!

More than conceal carry for me in my cars, it is a little intense when I get pulled over and have to list each gun and where it is for the police officer... Most of the time they are impressed but now and again they look concerned.
