Always good to see my press agent :D

Its cleaner than I imagined, it does have a few cosmetic issues here and there but I'd say its better than 'most' your going to find in that era on the used market. The auto and non-op AC could be a deal breaker for some. As I explained to Joseph, I don't think its a screaming 'don't ask questions just do it' kind of deal... but if he can get a few things fixed it could be a good reliable transport.

Does anyone know what the green button is supposed to do that's near the shifter?

This is the ECT PWR button, when you press it the windows automatically retract as the cabin prepares for an xtreme amount of awesomeness, without it the tailgate would depart the vehicle, however...the impending cabin pressure increase never happens and the engine simply winds out a little longer between shifts.

:DPUSH IT:D

(ECT PWR= Electronically Controlled Transmission, Power mode)

A special thanks to Kurt "The Truth" Williams for checking over this rig in the early hours today. I gave the VIN# to a friend at Brent Brown and he confirmed that all recalls were done on the vehicle.... the bad news is it seems it needs a new head gasket again and it's an 8 hr job plus parts. My tech friend here at the Chevy store found the AC system had no pressure and he offered to black light it but I didn't see the need.

I spent 24 hrs with the vehicle and I feel that it definitely has it's charms but there are things that need attention that will be spendy. I handed the keys back to the KIA store today.

With all the $ pending on the Jeep, ownership of this vehicle will not do me any favors.

Update: I just learned this 4Runner was sold the day after I returned the keys for $3900 by the same salesperson that intitially sold it for $5000 the month before.

I love my 4runner a 1991 auto 3.0L dont feel like i need more power and i just drove a 3.4L swaped one. I agree with giving it back with all those problems it sounds like the guy before took a few key parts and gave it back, dirty move if you ask me, but if your intrested in a 4runner i have seen 2nd gens go for like 1500 with a little work ksl.com baby yeah
