Who is running a 1310 CV drivshaft? Who has broke a 1310 CV drivshaft. What is the rest of your set up and have you broken other stuff while the CV lived? Anyone ever grenade a stock dana 300 output shaft while a 1310 CV lived or what about a 1350 CV shaft.

Is the stock output on the 300 going to be the definate fuse in my drivetrain if I use the 1350?

I run 1310's in the Cruiser both front and rear. I have never broke one or a U joint for that matter.
Yep, the D300 output will be your weak link. I upgraded to the AA 32 spline output in mine.. Need a spare output let me know;)

I run a high angle CV drive line from Arizonia Drivelines with the 1310 ujoints. I have had no problems with lockers, 5.38 gear and 37in tires..

I ran 1310 on my last setup with 35" tires spool in the rear and open front...I only broke one but that was because the spring center bolt broke and the whole axle shifted causing the shaft to bind...I will prolly run 1350 on my curent setup but I would really like to run 1410 cause they can run at the greatest anlge of any of the joints...

Is your rear CV? I have run the 1310s for years with a standard shaft, but I have heard that the CV set up is weaker. I need to get a new rear drive shaft and I am back on the trail. I set up the pinion angle for a cv(even though the way the shaft length and angle ended up I think I could run a regular shaft). I will do the 1350 if the 1310 is going to break all the time but I also would a lot rather break the driveshaft than my T/C output. I can't swing an output shaft upgrade now. The only cheep fuse in the rear is the drivline. I dont think I will ever break anything in the rear axle and the tranny should take anything I throw at it. I will eventually put a 205 with the low gears in but that is years away.

What do you run? HP, gears, axles?

Yep, front shaft and rear shaft. Before I streched it my D line was about 23" and with a heck of a angle,,,, freway driving, beating the sheet out of it, ect, it has held up.
Keep it greesed up and it will last. I doubt you will treat that nice ride as bad as I treat mine
;)

Check it out Sunday.
