Questions. TF904 trans

Hey all, I have two tf904's. One from a 80 model CJ w/ D300 tcase. One from a 91 Wrangler w/ NP231. Do they have the same tailshafts?? Interchangeable? Also, best place to buy a rebuild kit for same.

The only way to know for sure is to either count the splines, or mount up a d300 to each tranny. The CJ one should be 23 spline, the YJ tranny may be 23 spline.
