Ford Raptor: still douchey?

If you take a Raptor to Baja, it's no longer douchey.

That truck was built for trips South of the border, IMO. I'd love to have one and a couple weeks exploring the washes, canyons and dirt roads down there.

I took my 1st gen down to Baja......my wife has said I will need to find a new place to live if I take the 2020 down.............I am fine with that possiboility.

Any woman who tolerates you building dirt bike engines on her granite counters is a keeper. Especially if you have already invested in some mods on her.

I would buy a raptor if my wife would let me, but she said I don't need a truck, which I don't. I have access to a truck that is basically mine, but I would still love to get a raptor and drive that thing, especially for Baja and similar type of trips, but the SXS's are dang fun in Baja also.... She did tell me I could get a Hellcat in the next couple years, so I guess she is right, I don't need a raptor.

Update: didn’t go for a Raptor, decided to build the tundra a bit. TRD pro fox shocks front and rear, trd pro skid plate, zeon 12k winch up front, and magnuson supercharger.

How was your experience with Toby? He sent me a couple pictures but didn't really tell me what work he did. Looks nice!

Toby is awesome- 10/10. He did the tuning on it, threw on one of his smaller pulleys that he makes in his shop, and threw the shocks on. He really knows his way around these tundras!
