Yeah, it was a long day. We started on the trail about 1:30 I think. After 2 minutes and 12 seconds we caught the first group ahead of us at the rock garden. After an hour or two, we made it the 150 feet out of RS. We sat and looked at each other for 15 minutes on the top of RS, then went to WW. We spent an hour there and then made the 5 minute drive up to the end of Con where we were stacked over 20 deep waiting for the group(s) ahead of us on the waterfall. After waiting for about 45 minutes to see 2 of the 18 rigs ahead of us get over, we decided to turn around. By that time there were another half dozen rigs behind us so it took a few minutes to get everyone turned around.
I have to say, both trails kinda make me sad. Constrictor is about as difficult as RS used to be, and RS is about as difficult as I15 during construction. The bypasses on constrictor absolutly blow me away--especially the first one. I still am amazed that someone actually went so far as to tear the tree down next to the end of con so that they could get a better look at the obstacle they have no chance of doing. Makes me sad.
It was a good day, got to meet a lot of new people and see a lot of rigs I havn't seen before. Hopefully next time we can do more wheelin.
