Rattle-Con 28th of april, saturday.

I had a great time with everyone, lets do it again soon!!!!

Ryan, aka Jinxspot on pirate and RME boards (black buggy with pitbulls)

Eddie, aka Eddied on RME Board (Blue Buggy with Maxxis tires)

Ryan, Nice to meet you again. Thanks for the ride and for introducing us to that tree off Wayne's World :D (Is that why you call yourselves the Bush Eaters?)

Here are some pics I took with the phone. I've got video on the nice camera I'll upload tonight.

I got there at 9am... and no one was there yet so I ran the tow rig up part of the snakes

pulled the pitbike rode up the snakes... chucked the chain on a few climbs (I need new swing arm bushings)
Then the throttle cable broke at the top of the tailings pile between RS and WW.
so I fixed it enough to get back to the truck. haha. That was a little sketchy.

Then drove into Tooele got some food and headed back out, and met Eddie and Ryan on the RS waterfall and walked up to WW.

Dallas tore a sidewall and decided since it was already toast to drive it back to the truck...

And I gave him a new tow strap cause that little one freaked me out.

i was the one talking to you about the pitbull rocker tires. you gave stratton and his wife a lift up waynes world right? and i did say hi cause we were talking about my tire and getting no air for it. then after i was about to get the tire plugs from ed? i changed my mind and walked to my jeep. i think that's when everyone was about to leave.

might have been Jinxspot, I think he has a new rig/buggy... I have an old scrambler, i didn't get out there until 6-6:30pm. I needed to make sure everything was working before I drag it out too far...

yep that was my bad to jinx and jinxspot. maybe next time you can get out there and hang with us.. and yes that tire was blown. i was just planning on driving it to a flat open spot near the sunshine road, and i think i took a wrong turn, so after i got to a flat open spot i was almost back to the truck in the parking lot. and i got a ride from a nice fellow in a white dodge ram charger and i went home. got my new pitbull rockers on order so hopefully ill be able to make out to snakes again this weekend. if not the 12th for sure. gotta go one more time before i hit moab..

Was awesome to run with yo guys... my name is Jay and I was in the wj withoutvthecfroht bumper...Ryan I got a couple pis of your xj on ww...I'll get those up soon

so pitbull rockers are almost 3 months out. so scratch that idea. now i cant just decide on what tires i want. and for golly sakes les schwabb is wanting to much money for their iroks. so frustrating

les schwab has some very knowledgeable technicians but their prices are ridiculous. I can get tires cheaper at discount tire than I can through my friend's employee discount at les schwab.

Six string Steve don't know if your talking to me but no I haven't tried it yet maybe next time I go out. I need to get my x.o cage done before I get too crazy!

Wjwithawj if you could email me those pics or text them to me my email rpetersen1234@gmail.com or my # 801-350-1412 thanks guys had a blast let's do it again.

I meant ryan jinxspot. But now I know you're called Ryan too and that you're working on an exo. :D I'll be asking for pics of you doing the nest once the exo is done.

I have not made it up Eagles Nest yet. :-\

On both Sat and Sunday I was 4" from crawling the nest... The rear tires were sooo feaking close, but I still had to go up 4 inches before I was up!!! The video Eddie took from Sat was about 10min long and I know there is a little bit of video posted in the sunday thread from Tyler. I'll get it without romping it, otherwise Im super cool with not making it. From what I've gathered the anticapation of making something is sometimes better than making it and not having any difficulties left on that trail. One new friend of mine even told me to run rattle-con in only front wheel drive, or rear steer only and see how fun I have on the trail (with that said I have many years of fun left on that trail).

My biggest issue last weekend is my PSC steering resevoir... Lost the cap at EJS and have a jimmy rigged one on there right now, this in turn is not letting my rear steer work on such a severe angle for too long before I start loosing fluid and just give up.

Also, the rig I have is a 4 seater at about 5200 lbs (unloaded) and since its so new to me I have 5 bags of tools and spares that I carry with me which might be dragging the booty down on such severe climbs. What can I say though, I like junk in my trunk!!! :D

(OK, don't take this pic too seriously... I call it "broken junk in the trunk" lol. I can poke fun at myself as I helped this buddy dissmount his broken driveshaft after a valiant effort in the first rock garden)
