Here's some pics of my project since da 'monkey posted pics last. I tore out the cool bumpers, 'cage' and dually Rockwells due to persecution and heckling and ended up with this.

(powertrain plans--350TBI, 700R4, 241 (or D300)).........however, that's my DD right now.

Actually, I think he is missing very little. It all just needs to be condensed into one contiguous unit.

Known things I am missing: (there's always those dumb things you never think of)

Cubic dollars :D, Front driver/passenger seats, radiator, various hoses, belts, etc., drivelines, gas tank/fuel pump, steering shaft (might have one that will work, but not sure), belly pan, dash/guages, lockers {14 bolt, D60), 4.56 gears for 14 bolt, BIG KEWL tires-38-40", at least a dually 60 hub (I think I have a SRW set on the way, though) and whatever I missed.

Some half or full hard doors and a soft top would be nice, but I'll worry about that when I get the thing moving under it's own power for a while.

What are you thinking about for gauges? I have some stock gauge clusters I'd let go for cheap if you want to assemble a stockish dash, but some custom gauges and a flat simple dash would prolly turn out better.

I'll keep that in mind. That's kind of one of those 'last' things and I might be out of money. I'd like some nice liquid filled jobbies, but we'll see.

The way I see it, you need a temperature gauge, and an oil pressure gauge. You can pick those two up for cheap and be good to go. The rest is just luxury and can be added/upgraded later.

Those are dually hubs that are coming... Is that what you want?

I'm half tempted to run it like that for a while. It'll probably get a little aggravating being that wide. I could make a cool personalized plate or something, though. :D WIDEJ or similar?
