rear shackle hang up

My 82 Cherokee has a strange stock setup for the rear shackles. They limit the flex on the rear.

Has anyone had this problem and if so how was it corrected?

Are you talking about how the shackles mount up inside that little box? I had a cherokee for a while, and never really had a problem with it limiting my flex. My cherokee wasn't all that modified though. I'm sure there are a couple of FSJ owners on here that can give you some good advice. It might help if you explain a little better what the problem is so we don't have to guess . Pics would be nice too

ok,
The little box, (BUILT OFF THE FRAME) surrounding the shackle seems to be getting in the way. Causing it to limit shackle drop.

Better?
