I would suggest whomever you take it to ask them to take pictures of your pattern. They should be willing to show you the pattern. A good R&P is a good start to getting a perfect pattern. Now R&P's is definately something everyone can learn, it is just expensive when they need to be fixed. Thanks Seth Hammon RockLogic4x4

I guess the question that i have now is what options do I have? I will check with Six States but I want to check 3 or 4 shops before I decide. What other professional shops are in the Salt Lake Valley area?

Seth at Rocklogic4x4 just did mine last week and I was very impressed with him, his shop and his prices.

he did not do my gears, but did take pics of the pattern so i could show the place that did it that my pattern sucked and needs to be fixed. he also just did a crap load of other work for me on a front axle and was far and away the least expensive to do the work...had him do a couple of things now and have not had anything but a good experience there.

thanks Seth

Exactly. Not many people will show off their work for fear of being fingered. It's very easy to put the cover on and hide it...

I bought gears a while ago (gears, bearings, install kits....) from Kurt at cruiser outfitters, dont remember the exact cost but i remember it was by far the cheapest i found, installed them myself so i dont know about labor costs, but im sure he would be happy to give you a qoute. They were Sierra gears. Never had any problem with 'em.
