Machete was spawned from the fake movie trailer in the Grind House movies. I expected a primal entertaining man-movie and was given a little less. It had the making for a red meat blow ‘em up and look like a bad ass doing it. It did deliver some but I expected more. Jessica Alba does have a shower scene that if recorded on VHS would be worn out with all the replay action. Some cool stuff, T&A, blood, few good lines, and Steven Segal makes for a strange Mexican bad guy. C/C+
