So Cool! I'm seriously looking into being at the next. Funny story. I am an art student that was in a huge auditorium for a lecture by a local photographer. All the sudden Kurt's Fj pops up on the screen and the photographer get's all stoked about this amazing RR trip around the GSL that he was able to shoot.

Yup did a search. It's him.

Unfortunatley he doesn't have pics of his rig. It is a earlier gen Land rover 110 I think with a dark room inside, food and provisions in case he needs to stay a while. Cool guy!

I borrowed this shot, for props and cool aesthetics for this thread!

Funny little story some of you already know.
I got a call Wed. asking if I was the Brian on the cover of the Trib, If so this lady had a '78 Rockwell pop-up trailer with little use sitting at a friends house that was for sale cheap, I contacted her went over and had a look as well as Kurt, I called her yesterday and picked it up!

It may need a little more work than I had thought, But it all seems to be canvas oriented.

It is fair to say that Michael has influenced many of us particularly in our appreciation and want to explore the Great Salt Lake area. Ironically it was a discussion between Michael and I that led to the Relic Run concept and he was fundamental in the planning of last years GSL event. He's spent hundreds of days around the GSL and GSL desert exploring, you can't ask for a better guide than that.

someone should do the GSL with me. I really want to go but don't want to do it alone. Not relic style, I would be taking my cummins.

The RR10 story will be airing this coming Saturday (tomorrow - 7/17) at 11pm. I've offered up my house if we all want to meet and watch Roughin' It Outdoors. Steve J. is bringing as many of the RR10 photos as he can dig up on a DVD so we can watch a 'modern' slide show of the trip before the 11pm airing.

Options are wide open right now, dinner before? BBQ? Coleman repair session

Anyone is welcome, so if you didn't get a chance to come on the RR this year your still beyond welcome.

Please RSVP (# attending) so I can gauge how this is going to work. Thanks!
