Remington Recall ***

From my understanding the issue occurs when closing or possibly opening the bolt. Sucks that they are recalling all 700s, the turn around time will be horrendous for sure, this goes back to NEVER POINTING A GUN AT A SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY!! I wont be returning any of mine, all of them have had the triggers reworked or replaced.

We sent one back on the previous recall. It took about 4-5 months to get the gun back. Rather than send it back, I'd possibly buy a new trigger. Following Scott's advice above is NEVER bad (and always prudent)

None of my 700's have more than a passing resemblance to a factory trigger anymore and I wouldn't let the pipe fitters at Remington touch one of my rifles with a 20 foot pole. Factory rifles are just organ donors anyway though.
