...Why don't you just ask them to be taken off the list?...

WHAT LIST???

I get things from EVERYWHERE, can't be from a single magical, solves-all, list... If I called back every single loser that sent me junkmail... it would take weeks. Its like clicking on the "unsubscribe" portion of SPAM, and it takes you to a page not in service... like they are really helpful about getting your name off. The fact is, I DID NOT ask for the mail, therefore I should NOT have to waste my time to ask them NOT to send it to me. If you want to save the world one credit card company at a time, be my guest, but the only language I speak to junk mailers is revenge... :greg:

Unsolicited mail deserves every form of revenge one can think up. Clutters up the USPS, creates waste, kills trees, aggravates, annoys, and serves no purpose whatsoever.

I am all in favor of sending it back and making them pay. Rude? Not nearly as rude as shoving that crap in my mailbox every freakin' day.

Yet you have time to cut up an old tire and mail it to them? :D

I need to keep sending stuff... :greg:

In my opinion they are both legit ways to get off their mailing list, however... the tire probably takes LESS time (than sitting on hold for a couple hours), and is a lot more self gratifying...

And yes Shawn, I have a couple things to say... :D Between my company & school, I get SO much junk mail & SPAM, at least 30 emails a day and about 3/4 of my mail... even deleting them wastes my time! :mad2:

i could do this for weeks. my dad has 20 or so old tires sitting in the back yard that he cant get rid of. i think i will pass this info on to him. or maybe i will bring some of the tires home and send them myself.

hey joe, this is the best thread you have ever posted.

I didn't miss that point. I understand it, but it's still rude. Why don't you just ask them to be taken off the list? It's not that hard. And no, I'm not one of the unlucky people with that job.
Just curious, are you the one that shaved the guys head in your icon? Either way, apparently you like it and think it's funny. This is along those same lines if you ask me.
