Painless is usually the best option, you can do it pretty cleanly yourself if you take the time to do it right.

i just rewired my j truck with a Ron Francis Wiring kit and was very happy with it. very easy to install. there were no problems. hooked up the battery when it was done and everything worked perfectly. they customize your kit for charging system and steering column super cool.

I think painless are WAY over priced for what they are. I did a Kwik wire in the Scout and it was OK. If I did it again I would do the EZ-wire kit. They are cheaper and install really easy.

Just take your time and plan it out and it will look factory installed
