bigger can be better!

I have a 98 Ford Expedition with 4 inchs of lift and 35x12.50x17 procomp mud terrians (don't buy these for heavy vehicles they wear too fast) and 4.56 gears in both the 8.8 front and 9.75 in the rear with a locker in the rear. The expedition also has an old Ramsey 12,000 Lb winch on the front for extracting everyone!!! (how come no one listed their winchs?)

and

85 CJ-7 with 4.2 liter with a 4 barrel Holley carb
dana 30 in the front with 4.56 gears
dana 44 in the rear witha locker and 4.56 gears
dana 300 t case and t5 tranny
3 inch lift and 32x11.50x15 BFG tires
Soon to get a locker in the front and a winch and a 4.1 Tcase conversion

Just recently sold the 43 MB that had 33 inch tires, buick 3.8 lt v6, t90 tranny, dana 20 t case with a overdrive and 4.88 gears in the dana 25/27 axles :(

Hey donny, I just welded the front on Sat. Mainly just for moab. Too cheap to put money in the 44 when a 60s just around the corner. I have that spare axle so if something breaks i can swap in all or part of it.

-440, 727, 203.
-Dana 60's front and rear, 4.10 gears, lincoln locked in the rear.
-56" rear springs, shackle flip, 8" shackles.
-51" front springs, custom hangers, 8" shackles.
-Home built hydro assist steering, 8"x2" ram, bling remote pump reservoir.
-35x12.50x15 Procomp XT tires, 15x10 white spokes.
-No top, no doors, no tailgate, no inner fenders, no heater.
-Full roll cage, Summit light wieght drag seats.
-Home built custom front bumper with 12K MM winch.
-Recently rebodied with new paint and lots of fender trimming.

For easter, I'm in the middle of boxing the frame at the steering box, putting a new timing chain in the engine, and building a new rear bumper to match the front and will offer more body protection. Also I'll build some rock sliders if I have enough time.

For the future, I have a Dodge 205 that I will use for a doubler setup.

Do you have any problems with water in the intake because of the missing inner fenders, or do you just avoid mud and water?

Never, but it's my "trail only" rig even though it is street legal and licensed. When wheeling I always take the water crossings slow and I don't play in mud.

I think you need to go get your winch back... and if you have to take the whole bumper or vehicle with it its justified! :D
