Just tell the cop they fell off.
I see jeeps almost everyday without bumpers or fenders.

I have a question,
Are we getting locked in or are the gates open?
Also, i might be getting there around 8 or so any problems there?

Question, Would I be considered illegal to drive without bumpers?

I thought I would have them done before this weekend but I wont. I realize that since most of this is not on the trail I may just bring another vehicle, as I still want to participate in the other parts of this. If I'm illegal I'll have to wait to take it on the next newb run.

You're welcome to drive without bumpers on the course. On the highway, Utah requires bumpers. We got pulled over on the highway by UHP last time we were in a rig without bumpers. You might get lucky, you might not. Your call.

IMO, rain is welcome out there; keeps the dust down.. There is no shortage of dust out that way. Cooler temps and dust-free would be the greatest thing ever... I get tired of hot sweaty dust blown days at MMP.
