My 1999 F 250 with triton v10 . automatic transmission. 4x4 . crew cab short bed. 7200 lbs. my 18 foot tandem axle is 2500 lbs. With the 5760 lb Truggy I could use a little more Braking power.

Specs: 1984 Unimog 416 doka (double cab). Drivetrain and suspension is stock except for the turbo engine, 2.5" body lift, and overload springs removed. Stock-option-sized 405/70R20 XM47 Michelins.
Does your 416 have the Chevron tread pattern tires those are neat. What is a 416 considered to be a two ton?

Yea, they are a tractor tread. They really work well with a couple of exceptions: side hill in slick conditions and driving on soft surfaces with no damage (like a lawn). I think it is considered 2 ton.

Full body TJ with lots of heavy steel parts, tons, beadlocks, and a 5.3L. It's gonna be losing some weight soon though. In fact it's already started. Soon enough it will be back on the road.

See. That is more like it.

People underestimate the weight addition of tires and bumpers

It's true, I always try to keep the weight and CG low on my jeep, it makes a huge performance difference on and off road and it's more enjoyable to drive.

I was out driving around yesterday enjoying the weather when I realized I was going to go right past MCR Recycling. I decided this was my chance to finally find out what my Jeep weighs. It looked just like this:

topdown4.jpg

Here is a quick rundown of the main specs:

1998 TJ
4.0L & AX-15 5-speed trans
A/C
Dana30/Dana44 OEM axles with OEM shafts
TeraFlex 4" lift with monster lower arms (OEM upper arms)
35" tires on 15x8 alloy wheels
Lots of steel armor: both bumpers, sliders, gas tank skid, steering box skid, front diff skid
Additional roll cage tubing (to the floor in front)
M8000 winch
Rear seat removed; in its place is a Tuffy steel security enclosure with my usual cargo (a few tools, 30' strap, winch accessory kit, first aid kit, etc)

2/3 tank of fuel

Total weigh without me in it: 4,020 pounds.

I'm doubting the accuracy of some of these scales being used. 05 LJ, Rubicon, was on 33s", no doors no top, no swing away carrier, me in it 4,800 lbs. still got the sheet from flying Js. Now on 35s", steel wheels, hard top, and beefy or fab tire carrier... No clue
