RME'er needs help in Bullfrog - ASAP

Steve (scoutabout) and Eric (erusselle) are on the Hole in the Rock Trail in SE Utah. Steve's Scout broke a rear axle and a short side axle (inner, outer & joint). They can get out of the trail without a problem but he won't be able to drive the Scout home.

They have two options:

1. Get the parts to fix the rear axle. Front is fine, he can deal with that when he gets home. He needs a Scout 44 rear axle.

2. Eric has a diesel and trailer in Kaysville that could be taken down. Of course they will pay for fuel, food, etc. They could meet you at Bullfrog, load the rig and drive it home while you sleep.

We are heading to Moab today. I would not be able to get to Steve until Sunday but if there is a need tell Steve ( I tried his cell but it went straight to VM) have him give me a call, he has my number. BTW I would need to pick him up at the airport not Bullfrog.

I am all for driving the diesel and trailer down. I live in Layton so it would be easy for me to do it I am on leave so all I have to do is be back before Tuesday and I will have to take my eldest with me he is almost 4. 801-388-7838

Thanks for the responses everyone. We made it back today without too much hassle. My brother-in-law brought the truck and trailer down and we hauled the Scout home.
