Rock Disposal?

I have piles of rocks ranging from gravel size to beach ball size that I'm taking out of my back yard (a stationary stone gathers no grass). What can I do with them? I don't want to fill the landfill with them, since they're not really garbage. Is it legal to dump them somewhere? Does anyone on here need any rocks? Free!

Put it in KSL for free landscape rock/fill is probably your best bet, or there are some excavation places that might take them for free (although if you cant load it for them they probably wont) Is it river rock or granite or what is it?

I'm not a rock expert... :ugh: It's, um domestic garden rock... Most of it is smoothish, so it must have been deposited by a river at some point. maybe

It's in West Valley.

Here's what we're talking about. Basketball for size reference. There's plenty more, this is just what I've collected so far.

I'll be around all day today if anyone wants to stop by and grab a load of rocks. Call or text 801-891-1407 for address and directions.

I put a ad on KSL for all my rocks, you remeber what the rocks were like out here. I had 3 different people show to haul them off.

I'll have to do that. I might wait until I'm done pulling them. Today I tilled up a pile of rocks about the same size as the one pictured from 378 square feet of yard. Then again, maybe I should post that ad now, since I'll have a steady supply of rocks for quite some time.:(

Bump!

One truck load is gone, and that really didn't even make a dent in my rock supply. Come get some rocks! They make great RC Rock Crawling courses!
