west jordan,
So we went down to Moab for the weekend and had a great time. The weather was perfect. I got to run Hell's Revenge for the first time. It was awsome. I also ran Gemini Bridges (no pics). Some of the guys ran Pritchet Arch. Lots of trails were run by guys in our group, but they didn't take any pics. Nothing really fancy, will have better pic's from the actual customer event on may 13,14,15.

I've always thought that Pritchett Arch would make one hell of a rope swing.

Have you seen the exhaust on those *pathetic* new Rover disco's? Dual exhausts go under (yes UNDER) the rear IRS!!! I about started gagging when I saw that this morning on a LR3 on the way to work. So much for Rover's "off-road" heritage.

What's the name of the second arch picture? I haven't been out there for a while and don't feel like getting the maps out right now.....
that one is picture frame arch. I didn't realise that it is such a short side trip off of pritchet arch, so last year I didn't go see it. now I'm kicking myself in the butt.

are you coming down for our customer event? I am leading the easy trail (long canyon, mineral point, gemini bridges), friaday and saturday, so technically I am working :D , but I am hoping to do a fun trail for myself on saturday night. so if you guys are still around, I would at least like to meet you, and hopefully get out on a trail. (mine is the black classic).
BTW, the LR3 did Hell's and Fin's without even a scratch.

No we're not attending the customer event, we just happen to be going down at the same time, i'm meeting up w/ a group of Rovers from Canada and Chicago... Sat evening sounds good...Moab Rim?

Link some photos of that LR3 to the Discoweb.org site, seems it's taking some really abuse over there for not being a "real" Land Rover. i think more people need to see it in moderate use...

Where are those arches?
Devin
Pritchet Arch is just before pritchet canyon. it is a short side trail and then you have to hike a couple hundred yards to see the arch. Picture Frame Arch is a short spur trail off the main dirt road heading to Pritchet. there are actually 2 arches on that same butte, but I can't remember the name of the other one. Both are easy trails.

I'm not sure that my classic is set up enough for moab rim, but that sounds cool. is it a lot harder than hells? I dragged my hitch a couple times on hells, but I've heard rumors that stock classics have made it.
I will make sure that we get some good pics of some LR3's during the event and then I will try to get them on discoweb.
