rubicon transfer case?

I have a '93 YJ with a 231 transfer case, and i have come across a nv241 transfer case out of a 03 rubicon that was rolled hard and i can get it for free. does anyone know if it will work? or is it just not worth the hassle?

Do some research, the info is out there. I think its the same t-case they use in 1 ton trucks with 4:1 and big output shafts. Its far stronger than your stock 231 and it runs a slip yoke eliminator stock (I think). Get it!

If you can get the case, pick up the rear driveline as well. You'll need it due to the flanged output on the case.

I'm not sure...do the 93s have the AX-15 or the Peugot tranny? If you have the Peugot, then your you'll have to adapt the two to fit. The Rubicon 'case has a different spline count than the Peugot.

Most likely has either the AX-5 or 15 depending on which motor. Peugot wasn't used much at all in the 90's
