I have been getting a lot of phone calls from people on the rules. The input has been good and some revisions have been made reflecting the input from competitors. The event is getting close and it would be best to stick with this revision as written to avoid controversy (rev.1). Revisions include:
Legend Class 2.4, body panels, 5 sq. ft. area deleted.
Winches 3.12, winch size and cable, 5000 lbs winch OK, steel cable OK to compete but can't winch without a Marshal approval. The idea is to clear the area and use a winch weight if extraction is needed.
Battery Cutoff Switch 3.17, the word "battery" deleted.
Gates 7.6c, the hardest route (PARK Line) bonus increased to -15 points.
Spotter Ride 7.8, -5 points for all classes (unlimited was -3).
Winching 7.11, winching to finish an obstacle has been effectively removed as an option (40 point penalty), use of safety lines remain in place.
