Lots of tent trailers, and the off road kind. There are many things that we got to have, the problem is they start at 40k and go up to 400k...

I was very impressed with the progress Toy Haulers have made. Didn't look at a single tent trailer, so I really can't comment. Campers with slide outs are also very cool!
While I thought the prices were high on most everything, the larger motorhomes seemed to be priced fairly reasonable. Due to the poor economy and high diesel prices, I think they're just not selling the larger units.
I spent about 3 hours wheeling and dealing on a 40 foot Monoco. In the end, the numbers worked out good. Selling price was very good, and they were willing to give me a decent trade on my current motorhome. But alas, I chickened out. Offer is good for 7 days, but that's a lot of money to spend and the timming just isn't quite right for me. Maybe I'll change my mind (the wife is buggin me to just do it), but I'll probably hold off a year or two.
One thing that did bug me. If you're a twenty something, with 2 or 3 toddlers in tow, are you serious when you're looking at a $250K coach? I felt a bit sorry for the salesman. He couldn't totally blow off these people risking a potential sale, but he also knew they were just yanking his chain.

Ya, we looked at a few of the 250K homes, but they just were not was I was looking for so we looked at fifth wheels and campers. It just blows me away that you can spend 40k on a 30' fifth wheel and spend the same 40k on a 11' camper...wtf???
My problem is the whole pulling tandem vs caring 6k and pulling another 5k. I know my truck will handle it, I just don't know if a camper is better for my needs or a spacious fifth wheel....

Our buddy Mike tandem tows his 5th wheel and Jeep. The 5th wheel is about 33 feet long and the trailer is 20 feet and he's just below the legal length limit. It's a heck of a load, but he has yet to have any problems. We've been seriously contemplating doing the same thing just to save on hotel bills and then Chris could use it for work. We would go with a 5th wheel over a trailer because then you get more space for the footage and 5th wheels tow so nicely. Dual bumper pulls seem a little too sketchy for me, but never tried it so that's strictly my paranoid opinion. Chris does tandem tow a gooseneck and various small trailers for work and it's always gone well so far.

Ummm.... I didn't see a tent trailer that I have to have. I doubt I ever will, though. I think the show just solidified that I'm happy with our travel trailer. I found a few accessories that could be kinda useful, though.

Well, if you get a 5th wheel and don't end up liking the way LJ feels behind it you do have two trucks (assuming they are both running at the same time).... the added fuel would be about equal to one nights hotel bill in the summer.
This is the same way we felt last year when we went. The fifth wheels seem to offer so much more for the money. I also have the same dilemma, tow double or not. I figured I'd probably end up with a fifth wheel because I won't always have a second trailer and when it's just the fifth wheel it'd be tons more comfortable then a camper.
My biggest concern is I have many toys to haul to many different types of locations. ATV's for the mountains, that alone could be a problem getting to the camp site (length), Boat would make me a total of 70++ feet long and the Cruiser has added weight and length close the the 70 foot mark.

I'd kinda like a 8-9' self-contained unit on the cheap for the Jeep trips.

I asked my wife how CastleRock did at the show and she said they sold everthing they had on the floor. wich would be great for me if I could get her to pry her purse open and help a brutha out but thats not likely
I also like seeing how far the toy haulers had advanced however since my Weekend Warrior is sitting in the back yard with 8 inches of snow on it while I continue to make payments the likelyhood of me dropping another 30-50K on another one is very slim. I also rolled over the scales in Nephi at 12,497 wich is plenty for me to tow so I could'nt imagine going to much bigger but if Money was no object it would be a 2.5 ton DMax and a Full Throttle
I also wedged my TJ in my Warrior but I had to take the top off and I would not haul it without further modification to the trailer. But it can be done I would think on some of these bigger buggies you would have to have ATV winches front and rear so you could collapse the suspension to get it past the rear bunk then you would be golden.
A Warrior can also be ordered with a taller back end however I believe it is only 3 inches but you can also order without a back bed then it would be no problem. I dont know about the other manufacturers since I was dealing soley with Warrior at the time
My Trailer is a bumper pull due to the fact that I hit my bed with a fifth wheel and I have a broader range of camping spot options. however the fifth wheels pull better in my opinion they also have a taller back end so getting a crawler in the back of one of those would be easier.
