Saturday in Penrose, CO

Hey all, thought I'd share some Saturday wheeling pics, the weather here in CO is perfect!

two busted front axles on a dana 30, and somewhere on the way out I sheared my pass side hub off completely

we dropped in liberty backwards to patriot, up to the exit came back down and out liberty. man was it fun!

Oh my truck is the white one.

Don't know any GPS stuff, but its in Penrose, Colorado, just north of Canon City, probably 38 miles south of Colorado Springs. There are three trails, Patriot(the hardest, at about 1/2 mile), Liberty(very fun, about a mile long), and Freedom, the shortest, lots of big ledges and such.

Awsome trail system! I have some friends that live in Florence. Went there for a weekend and they ran Liberty. WoW.
The group had a Jeep with 33s and it say the least got some sheet metal mods but made it out.
The entry into the trails is also a little nasty.
Was a fun time, I would like to run those trais with my Jeep just an spotter for that weekend.

I wish I could but I am closing on my new house Monday, and it needs tile and carpet and paint asap! I'll probably hit it again first weekend in February though...
