I googled his company name, and didn't immediately come up with any warnings. When I went to the site my computer freaked out about a virus.....but my computer has been acting weird for awhile so it's not necessarily from this site.

Anyone have any experience with this?

ninja edit: I just found some info on it. They try to get you to pay to have them register a bunch of random other domains (mostly like nagca.com.cn) so somebody else doesn't. It's a hoax...but I'll leave this here in case someone else gets hit with something similar.

I dont understand what he's after if it is a scam... I can't see them gaining anything from the situation. How much does the international call cost? Shoot him an email and hope his engrish is good enough to have a talk with him?

I've had a lot of that with Crawler Ready. I also get a lot of people from Singapore wanting to order a ridiculous amount of product and they always ask if I accept credit cards ha. I just ignore them all.

The company is a domain registry like GoDaddy.com. They try to get you to register all sorts of domain names (ie nagca.com.cn) because they say someone in China is trying to register that domain name.

You'd be better off just registering it directly if you are really wanting a presence in China (or other countries). We had to deal with this same thing a lot at Rastar.

Does the bridge have to be in that color? I am really interested, but I would rather it be a neon green.

edit: Just saw mesha's deal with this bridge. I'm out. mesha, PM me about that Nigerian Prince though.

wait, how did a nigerian prince get a bridge anyway? This sounds fishy to me.

Ditto. If you respond they will too. But it comes down to they want you to buy the domain name. To which I respond :cody:

Is that the same bridge from the KSL classifieds?

If so, I'm on my way to pick it up.

When I arrive, I plan on offering you less than the agreed upon price, and asking for you to deliver it because it won't fit in my car. If that plan fails, I'll expect you to supply me with some free ratchet straps or rope so that I can haul it home on my roof.
