looking for a set up with a chev 5.3 to some sort of standard transmission to an atlas. I know the nv4500 is a well proven trans but it is big and heavy. is there an alternative?

The ax15 and nv3500 from a jeep can be adapted to a 5.3. Will handle the power just fine. Check out Novak Adapters website. Lots of great info.
