I see I see. Well all i have to say is goodluck then. :)

I do know that places like KS do have signs that say any trucks with trailers must stop at POE or any tucks over 10K. I went, and picked up a willys convertable in KS i passed every POE thinking they would see me, and stop me.

If you are driving this for yourself or a friend and not as a business you should be OK.
Medical cards are required if you do this for a commercial business. In the Utah drivers C/V book personal & RV vehicles are exempt if I recall. If you run into "All Vehicles over 10 K Must Exit" just pull through, drive slow, watch lights, read signs, etc.. Explain what you are doing. Example: I'm driving this for self or friend. Have the paperwork with you. They may make you buy a temp trip permit but you should be fine.

Just my 2 cents.

Good luck and keep the heat on. LOL

Mid 80's, I was pulling a one ton jeep on a trailer, and was coming through KS. The sign said "all trucks with trailers must stop" at the port. I stopped in and the guy told me, just semi trucks with trailers, not Pickups. He kind of looked at me like I was stupid, and couldn't read the sign. Well I guess I was.
