calling all four link guru,s im going to 4 link the rear of my 72 scout but need a few tips before i go off and f up on it. im going to be running a 14 bolt rear and want to strech it to about 110'' im going to move the front about 3'' forward so about 7'' in the rear but is longer links better ? i know they all should be the same length but thats about it any help will be appreciated

It is really hard to give advice on a link set up, every rig is different. I built mine on the same chasis as you but I can gaurantee that my numbers will be different from yours in the end.

I also think that you can think this to death. Keep the links long, add as much separation as is practical, both vert and horizontal. overbuild. make it fit. That is my shade tree advice.

mine lowers are 40" my uppers 36" I triangulated both. I am at 108" wheelbase, but most of that is the front axle being pushed forward. I used 2" .250 DOM for the links. If I had to buy it again I would have gone bigger. I used 1x1.25 hiems (107,182 lb). I used a BTF truss in the rear and fabbed all my other brackets.

Last thing I will say is you can drop a lot of cash on links,SREs, inserts brackets etc.
