Scout II Dodge 727 Dana 20

I have a scout II with an old worn out 392. The cost of rebuilding international engines is enormous so I'm wanting to swap to a Dodge 360 and 727. The question is will a Dodge 727 mount to a Dana 20 transfer case from a Scout? The 727 used in Scouts have a different bell housing, but I'm not sure on the Dana 20. What I'm trying to do is keep the transmission and transfer case tucked up under the frame rails of the Scout like they are stock. Thats why I'm hoping a Dodge swap will be better then a Chevy swap, assuming the transfer case will mount the same. Any insight would be helpful.

I don't know about the dodge setup, but I've seen chevy drivetrain in Scouts. The D20 on a 727 will have the "Texas" bolt pattern (take it off, and it looks like Texas). Not sure what other setups used the same pattern, but it is possible to swap the rear trans housing for other t-case options.
