You really need to see this thing in person to get a better idea of just how large everything really is. The welds are great, truck is huge and the tires are hard to really explain by writing. You just have to see it to really understand it.

ahhhhhh. you guys say that to everyone Im sure. ;)

The thing is really big but the funny part is when I go wheelin with the Hair boys......im still the small rig:rofl:

I started mounting the shocks tonight. I should have them on tomorrow. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to mount 4 shocks back there.

Im kind of excited. Its going to look like one of the stupid big chevy show trucks with 45 shocks on the back of it. Next on my list is to get a chrome diff cover. They make those for Rockwells right?

got an update. I still havent wheeled it yet but Im going to the Snakes tomorrow for the shakedown run. I have driven it around the neighborhood a bunch and around Brigham City at the car show. It seems to drive really really good so we will see how it wheels.

I got the muffler remounted and some tube bent at Kwik City in Layton. EJ knows his bender and had this bent up in about 2 minutes. I like it. I will be taking all my exhaust work to him now. Very fair!

Got the bumpstops welded on, shocks all done, and my Mom made me these limit straps to match the ones she made for the front. Thanks MOM!!!! I will be mounting them tonight.

Also, I cut up an old trailer ball hitch and welded it to the front axle for a clevis mount

And finally..........I REALLY like the look of Retreads Blazer that is rig of the month on Planet 4x4 so I decided to copy it!! My cage needed new paint anyhow. It was getting rusty so why not change it up a bit, or a lot???

SHAZAAAAAM!!!! Look at that!! The Scout has color! Now all you have to do is paint the front bumper and the inner wheel that color of blue and the Scout will totally match!!! Not only match but be completely PIMP!!!
Looks good brother! I am looking forward to seeing it in action with the new coils and really seeing it stretch its legs!
