Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Scout and the Jeep Dana 300 tcases? If so how would I tell the difference.

scout = texas pattern same as dana 20

Yes. Scout 300's are very rare since they were only used for one year (on most 1980 Scouts). Usually selling for up to $500 each.

I'm just asking b/c my brother had one of each, but now that he passed away, we weren't sure what he had the Dana 300 for.
