Any SII T-19 wide transmission will work. I put one in my 800. They are not as common but I picked another one up at Tear A Part a year or so ago. People have them for sale from time to time. I've heard they were more common in the later years and behind 4 cylinders or diesels. I am no SII expert though. There is a metal plate at the top off the tranny by the shifter that will have a number & I cant find that number now. I think it ends w/ 427 for wide 428 for close ratio. I could be way off on that going off memory. You would have a Dana 20 T/C. The Dana 300 was only offered in most 1980 SII's. On the Scout D300 the Speedo Cable attaches on Passenger Side.

Other places to look.

Yup, what Brad said. The T-19 wide will have a 6:1 first gear. If it's out of the vehicle, you can turn the input shaft and count the rotations on the output shaft to confirm ratio. Six turns on the input shaft would be one turn on the output shaft. The T-18 and T-19 close would have a 4:1 first gear.
