The owners name is Richard Losee. He lives in Provo and I happen to know him. His car was in Road and Track several times and he has owned many different exotics.

I actually followed this guy and a couple others from Heber to Duchesne on Monday. He was driving like a maniac at times so I am not surprised that he wrecked a million dollars. I just hope the old timer that was riding shotgun was alright, he looked to be in his late seventies early eighties.

The one that crashed in SoCal was quoted $300,000 to repair to "like new status" by Ferrari. The damage wasnt as bad though.

The whole body is carbon fiber and it's scattered all over. The engine is toast as well. Very hard to repair I would imagine. Just an oil change on those cars is over $600.00 from what I hear.

Really funny about this topic, but I was talking to my neighbor who is a highway patrolman last night and he was telling me that he was assigned to go and guard all of the vehicles while they were down here in St George this week. He got to sit in it and admire.

I just called him and told him the bad news. Ouch! That's got to hurt.:ugh:

They say he was doing 100mph... that road looks straight.... how the hell do you wreck any Ferrari at 100mph on a straight road?

WHy the orange paint on the valve covers???

Yeah I'd imagine a good bump would put that thing right on the belly pan, hard to steer that.

they say he was traveling 100+ there was nobody aroung to clock him .they were judging by the wreck.they road they closed for doing this one was a rather rough road so at 100+ you would be suprised what can happen.combine that with a person who has no business being behind the wheel of suck a vehicle then you can guaranty this will happen to it give half a chance.

having money and being able to purchase such a machine doens't make you eligible for hitting the top mark of it.
