I have a pair of Corbeau Baja SS seats (all vinyl) that have seen rain, snow, and a lot of sun light over the past 4 years that still look brand new when I clean them up.

If I were to do it again, I'd get the Ultra's because I'm a little too tall for the regular SS seats... but they work.

I paid $300 shipped to my door.

I have PRP suspension seats. I love em. I got a deal on them but that's not repeatable. I would buy them again, even if I had to pay full price.

I love my Master Craft Seats, Paid a Lot for them though, they hug you into your seat just right, I can ride in them all day long without feeling cramped and having your bottom hurt. My vote is for the MasterCraft. The only thing I don't like is they get dirty pretty easy, always cleaning them. But they do shine. The cost was $545 ea with all the options. I have them up front in my CJ.

Another vote for PRP.

I got the premier high back, upgraded the fabric to cordura, shipped for about $255 (per seat).

Very comfy.

These are the ones I have and I hate em, even with the covers. They are ok for me for like 10 minutes and then everything begins to hurt and I am sore for days. I am putting some in a buddies crawler so I have to keep mine, but he doesn't want the same ones.

PRP's or Corbeaus... whichever you can find for cheaper. I think both are great seats. Mastercrafts are priced about 2x what they should be for the quality.

For cheaper seats, Summit sells some race-style buckety things that sure feel comfy in the showroom. They even have slots for the harnesses, and a nice recline to them as well. I think they're like $160ea?? somewhere around there.

PRPs are, IMO, the nicest for the money. I had a Corbeau back seat and and in my buggy I had PRP Premier High Backs with extra 2" width and I think the PRPs are a higher quality product. When I do aftermarket seats again I'll do PRPs for sure.

Like mentioned, the Mastercraft stuff is nice but it's WAY over priced compared to the PRPs. I think if you are going to do Corbeaus (they are TONS cheaper) then do the all vinyl like Herzog's. The cloth they use does not seem to be very nice and I've heard of several people that have had problems with them fading and changing color big time.

I'm out here looking at the PRP site. I have the 1980 cj7, what is your experience with their "CJ 7/YJ MountReplaces factory Pedestal. D/S Slide, P/S Slide and tilt. Bolts to stock mounts in Tub." mounting hardware?

I'd rather spend $10 more and get a set of Corbeaus ;) and even more than that I'd rather (personally) spend the extra and get a set of PRPs :D

Good points Caleb, and I went with PRP myself. I just wanted to throw that link out on the table in hopes of hearing the "good, bad, and ugly" experiences that anyone may have had.
