I am needing to upgrade my rear ARB to 35 spline shafts. Dana 44 I am looking at the differences between what is on the market. I have been running my ARB now for sometime. I wore out the "coast gear" a while back. Not a huge deal to replace but I think it could be a better stronger piece with more engagement to last longer. I have also had to replace the o rings in the seal housing. Those have been my only complaints about my current ARB. My current ARB failed due to a shaft breaking not a issue with the ARB itself.
I am also looking at a OX selectable with air to activate it. The way that the locker locks appears to be better with more metal contact. Also you don't have to tear the axle down to replace seal housing o rings. If you don't have air they come with a thread in piece that locks the diff. I like the idea of not being screwed if something happens to my air compressor. Any body running one that can give me some feedback. Pros? Cons? I looked at Yukon Zip lockers but did not see one in a 35 spline?
