She's Alive

She got her first breath of fresh air today. I put on the new shafts and brake line and pulled her out of the garage. I will pick up a compresor this week to finish it up and its nit pickin from there. Hopefully I can head out to five mile this week end or next and try to break somthing.

Walley- I am going to get the air system here in the next couple days and spend my turkey hang over locking her up. I will most likely be out there saturday or sunday, depending on when the family decides to retrete.

it got me thinking that the CJ demographic is probably 'older' than my generation... generally speaking of course

it'd figure those are the jeeps certain, dare i say 'more experienced' individuals, grew up drooling over.. so naturally they'll build em and love em still when they're older..

I think I understand what you mean, generally speaking, I haven't seen any white kids wearing "gangsta" headbands, ie you in price, driving CJs, maybe it is a generation thing...

Thanks Dave, its a 83 cj7 (258, t-5, D300) I picked it up in trade about a year ago. The paint job was aready done, it had a broken front axel and a blown rear ring and pinion, I started tearing everything out from under it and started over. I put a d30 front, 4.56, ARB lockers and I have a new ARB diff cover on order. Rear is amc 20, 4.56,ARB lockers, Moser one peace shafts, Warn Flange hubs. Lift- SOA, 2.5 yj springs, CV drive shafts and herculined tub. I have a full custom roll cage and custom front and rear bumpers in the back yard being prepped for paint. These are the things I have done or made my self in the last year. The plan is to have power/disc brakes and fuel injection before spring.

Fasten your hood latches NOW!!!!! I have learned the hard way three times now that the safty catch does not always keep the hood from flying up and hitting the whindshield frame.
