Shock Bushings... Where to get them?

So I need some shock bushings for my new shocks. I need a 3/4" ID - 1" OD half hour glass style bushing. Anyone have an idea of where I can pick some up?

i dont think anyone sells just the bushings but i know 4 wheel parts holds on to all the extra ones when they install shocks they would probly let you dig threw the bins for some

Here's the real question, I got new shocks... these...http://www.foxracingshox.com/offroad/shocks/noncoil/20_REMOTE_RESERVOIR

The are a 2.0 with external resi, but they are different then what I have on it. I got the stem to eye conversion for the top, but the bottom doesn't slide over the stud on the bottom mount. There is a heim(I believe that's what it is) in the lower eye. Can't I just remove the lock ring and heim and use a bushing like I have for the shocks that are on it right now? The stud is 3/4" dia. and the opening for the eye of the shock without the heim is 1". So can't I just use a 3/4" ID - 1" OD half hour glass bushing? I hope this all makes sense.

I wouldnt want to use a bushing. I think there is way too much weight and movement going on to trust it.

Can you throw a 1/2 bolt in the bottom and make it double sheer?

I would get a piece of DOM that is 1" O.D. and 3/4" I.D. and replace the heim with it before I did a bushing. Make sure you have enough misalignment with just the upper eye to do that though.

Well... I spoke with ORW and Fox makes a bushing kit. They said they have never had a problem with it, so that's what I went with. I got the shocks installed all fine and dandy and everything seems to be good. The only problem I had was trying to find room to mount the reservoirs. I ended up just mounting them to the shock body itself.

Sounds good. I took the assumption yours were coilovers. Just being shocks I wouldnt worry about it either.

I need to stop assuming everything is coilover related
