I picked up a stone stock 94 F250, that is in desperate need of replacement shocks. I plan on using it for daily driving and occasional towing. Any recommendations?
Truck will ride like a brick no matter what you do. I would just install some stock replacements from the parts house and be done with it. I am running Monroe sensatracs in mine. They were free. Best thing is a Dana 60 front axle and f350 front leaf springs. It will ride a lot better. Turn a lot tighter. Fix alignment problems with the F250 front end at the same time. Easy bolt in swap.
I replaced a blown set of ProComps with some yellow can 4600 Bilsteins on my '94 F350.
It is definitely still a leaf sprung 1 ton but it calmed down the buck on expansion joints and softened the dips around town. Shockwarehouse.com has good prices and usually free shipping.
