Shooting restricions in AF?

I understand, The .22-250 is still a good calibur, I wasn't bashing it at all. My .17HMR is a cheap little NEF single shot with a Leupold 2-7 scope. (still fun to shoot)

Mines a Savage and it shoots well but I hate the feeding mechenisam. It doesn't work worth a crap! On a calm day at the range I can get it to shoot a 1/2 inch group though

I'm just giving ya E-sh!t Shoots good, but the firing pin seems like it's not hitting hard enough. I had a few rounds that did not go off. Is the pin adjustable on a Ruger model 96-17?
